What is CES?

Community Empowerment Services is a private not-for-profit agency located in Honolulu, Hawaii, and provides case management and psychosocial rehabilitation services to the mentally ill homeless population on Oahu.  We help persons diagnosed with mental illness such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, depression, and bi-polar disorder.  Our purpose is to help people find jobs, housing, get state and federal benefits (or get free from state/federal benefits!).  We help our mental health consumers, both AMHD and QUEST, get psychiatric treatment, medical treatment, substance abuse treatment, or whatever they need to reintegrate and remain stable in the community.  Each person is unique and has a unique story.  We Empower people to continue their story in a positive and uplifting way.  Aloha!

Community Empowerment Services- I love that name. This sounds like a beautiful group doing beautiful work. I’m finding a lot of great things on this website Alimen, thank you! I have also been reading about Subud, and it sounds like a wonderful group.
